From Timber to Doors, Since 1968
Founded in 1968 as a family-run carpentry workshop by Antonio D’Auria, the company has grown over the years, adapting to market demands. Since 2000, it has chosen to specialize exclusively in one field: 100% Made in Italy interior doors—now the company’s core business.
The transition from artisanal woodworking to an industrial operation has been supported by the introduction of CNC machinery, advanced technologies, and automated production lines. These innovations have significantly improved precision, production speed, and overall output.
Despite evolving into a well-established industrial reality, craftsmanship remains at the heart of every door produced, preserving the high quality that has always distinguished the D’Auria brand.
Italian Manufacturing, 100% Made in Italy Doors
Each of our doors is entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, at our 5,000 m² production facility in Brembate di Sopra (BG).
We oversee every step of the process—from concept to finishing—including design, material selection, production, and quality control. Thanks to a vertically integrated and short-supply-chain model, we maintain full control over every stage, ensuring quality, reliability, and customization options.
This approach allows us to offer contemporary, durable designs while supporting an entirely Italian manufacturing ecosystem rooted in the local territory—from raw material sourcing to the final product.

Material Selection
The quality of an interior door begins with the careful selection of raw materials and components. Every element is chosen and designed to harmonize with its surroundings—from surface texture to the precision of the finishing.
Everything contributes to creating a stylish, functional, and reliable product. That’s why we use only wood and derivatives from traceable and controlled sources, as well as high-performance hinges, locks, and magnetic or concealed opening systems—paying attention to every detail to ensure smooth, silent, and solid functionality.
From the very beginning of design, we apply eco-design principles—not just thinking about performance and aesthetics, but also packaging and end-of-life impact: separable materials, reusable components, and reduced waste. In every D’Auria door, top-grade materials and precision engineering come together to offer modern design, superior durability, and outstanding functionality.

Open to Sustainability
We believe in a future where design, production, and environmental responsibility can coexist. This is why we manufacture doors using wood and derivatives from responsibly managed forests, in line with the environmental, social, and economic standards defined by FSC® certification, which we obtained in 2021.
Our commitment goes beyond raw materials. We make careful use of resources and energy: we recover wood waste from production processes to power a biomass heating plant, allowing us to self-produce heat while maximizing the value of each production stage. We also rely solely on renewable electricity, certified by a Guarantee of Origin (GO).
Every phase of our production process reflects a conscious supply chain, designed to minimize waste and maximize efficiency—with the goal of delivering high-quality products while respecting people and the environment.
